These attributes were considered, and we developed a performance assessment tool for suppliers and buyers to help them assess how they see themselves and their partners. These gaps can be identified, and you will have options for what you can do. You can take steps to restore trust and improve the relationship. This could determine if there needs to be more misalignment among partners to maintain the relationship.
Regardless of your situation, understanding trust gaps can be key to better business relationships. It is not a good idea to try to keep a partnership that could be more sustainable in terms of trust. It will serve everyone’s best interests to reach a mutually agreed upon end of the collaboration and to find more aligned partners.
